My solar panel from Windsoleil screams to the world I care. Owners Teddy & Khaled were not just great to work with they exceeded my expectations from the time I met them all the way through an exceptional installation of my solar panels. I could not be happier. I initially saw a couple of young guys, now I only see seasoned professionals who know their stuff. They did what they said they would, when and exactly how they said they would do it. Yes there will be savings and I look forward to that, but every time I gaze at my WindSoleil solar panels, I know I''m no-longer a person who talks about caring for our plant, I am doing my part. Had an overall great experience with the team at Windsoleil. Their sales guy who initially sold us on going Solar was very honest and patient with us, which I really appreciate. As I was a bit hesitant at first, about adding the panels to my house, but really needed to lower my usage. They did everything they said they were going to do and we're very happy with the decision to go solar. The install team was in and out in two days and explained how we can monitor our production from the solar panels. Just good attention to detail and patience with me is what I appreciated most. I am very pleased with the customer service and quality of the products from Windsoleil! My students have purchased two RA Solar Chargers to use for a school project. Both times the orders have been processed quickly and we received the products within three days! The solar chargers are excellent quality! I have ordered one for my personal use and am very satisfied with how quickly it charges my Android phone! I really like the fact that it will charge in sunlight or USB. WindSoleil installed solar panels on my home a year ago. It was a pleasure to work with this company. Each person involved in the process was professional and warm. Their work was excellent and done in a timely way from start to finish. And.... the panels have really been a blessing. Monthly bills indeed are markedly smaller. But the most important thing is reduction of fossil fuel use. I should add that I looked at many companies before settling on WindSoleil. I could not have been happier with this decision. I had given up for a period of at least a year on looking for a Solar company that could help repair my system after calling multiple companies. They couldn't fix my system or couldn't service my area. When I contacted WindSoleil I was not only pleased by the customer service but also thought the price was very fair. I wish I would've known about this company sooner. The money saved by having my system online sooner, would've more than justified paying for the service. My repair specialist diagnosed the problem immediately, tracked down the company of the system I had(because I forgot), made sure the part I needed was shipped to my home for free because it was under warranty. When the part came in WindSoleil sent a representative to install it the very next day. I was surprised not only because how quick they were to come the next day, but that day was an extremely hot day of over 92° degrees. I strongly recommend WindSoleil for any issues you have with your solar panels. ~ Brandon W

Teddy (owner) was communicative throughout the presale, installation and post-sale process. There were some issues with SREC claiming process with our state, but we are working through it. Windsoleil has a team lead in each of the major steps and each person was communicative and can be easily reached. Teddy operated as the overall General Manager if any issues arise. Things to note, 1. Be ready to be impacted by weather 2. There will be days or weeks between each major steps Major steps and "active" working day for each steps below, Inspection and various electrical grounding per city code (1-3 days) Initial wiring (1 - 2 days) Panel Installation (2 - 3 days) Activation (many days of waiting between the City of Chicago, ComEd and installer) SolarEdge activation (1 day) Other things to think about, Hardware location on your house and aesthetics Location to electric panel and wifi router Inverter inside or outside for maintenance ease Inverter sizing (for potential future expansion) ~ Jeff C

Would definitely recommend this company if you are looking to get solar installed on your house. When I contacted them and told them what I was looking for and my current electric bill, they gave me a great initial quote that was reasonably priced. After that they came in for an assessment of my property. The guy from WindSoleil was very informative and detail oriented which I like because I didnt have any previous knowledge before hand. However the system they are installing on my property looks really good so far and I am looking forward to saving the money. Thanks ~ Robert H

Wind Soleil is tremendous! Specifically, Teddy, who was an amazing manager. Teddy ran the crew, he was the first person I dealt with; he gave me his phone number right away and told me to call anytime (which I did and he was very responsive). The crew always cleaned up daily, were very polite and walked me through everything that was being done, including setting up the "app". Brand consistency is very important to us and they were able to provide us with awesome products that met our brand standards. I’ve had solar panels from WindSoleil for over 2 years now and haven’t regretted it for one second. Right off the bat the installation was pretty smooth and professional and Teddy is one of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. Overall I’d recommend the company to anyone interested in helping the environment and your bank accounts. Regarding the panels themselves, I’ve saved so much on my electric bill with these things over the past couple of years. Very Customer focused and did everything they said they'd do. Installation was very proffesional and cleaned up every thing. Took the time to answer any questions. They handeled all the permits, forms etc. to get things set up properly. Were creative and gave us a solution other vendors did not offer. The price the quoted was the final price. They did not add cost for any small changes. I would reccomend them to anyone interestd in solar. They are a local company that cares about their clients even after the check has cleared. ~ Robert D

These guys really helped us in a pinch. Our original solar installation company went bankrupt and it was nearly impossible to find a company that handles servicing existing systems for repairs. These guys were able to come out, identify the issue, get the parts under warranty, and get everything up and running after another company couldn't even figure out what to do next. I would trust them with full solar installation or repairs any day. These guys are legit, the rest should just quit! ~ Joshua T

This is a great company. We shopped around, got 3 bids for a solar electric system for our roof, Windsoliel was the lowest bid. Installation went without a hitch, we’ve had the system for a couple of years now, it’s working well. The response and follow-through during design and installation and then monitoring has been great. The staff is warm, friendly, respectful of people and property. WindSoleil was thorough in their system design and presentation, willing to discuss options (including an upgrade to Panasonic HIT High Efficiency Panels) and accommodating in their construction schedule. What amazed us – with the SolarEdge monitoring we have been able to track, manage and cut our consumption while watching the solar panel production. Overall – WindSoleil with the Panasonic panels and the Solar Edge monitoring met and exceeded our expectations. ~ len k

I am very happy with the Windsoleil team and experience. The initial contact, design, and installation all went great. Teddy and team did a perfect job calculating my needs and didn’t try to over sell me more. The system was installed on my garage and connected to the house via an unground trench. During that process we hit a snag but the team didn’t hesitate to make everything work as promised. Teddy was pleasant, professional, and informative. He even climbed up, cleaned and repaired one of my roof gutters. He answered all my questions, was available anytime I called. He clearly explained and helped navigate me through the steps/requirements with the different agencies. I love my system and the peace of mind it has given me as I live in a very rural area and experience power outages a few times a year. I also love the software app and all the information it provides, including my consumption patterns and decency on the grid. It also has a feature to modify my battery storage and usage based on my location weather forecast. Overall, a great experience and one I highly recommend. We are so happy we chose Windsoleil to install our large roof solar system. We have a stone (slate) roof which is a difficult installation and they completed the project without issues. The back and forth communication was excellent before, during, and after the project was completed. The whole team was extremely pleasant, clean and courteous. I am so thankful that Teddy from WindSoleil was able to fix my solar panels. I had panels installed last year by another company and these never worked properly. After so many phone calls asking them to fix them at the end of the day they didn’t even answer the phone. WindSoleil installed my solar system earlier this week, and they were great! They explained every step as they did it on my home, made me feel very comfortable with the whole process, and their clean up was great.
